Aradhana (Kuxi) Ghai
Aradhana (Kuxi) Ghai is a Producer, Journalist, Media Consultant and Human Rights Activist born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Kuxi has worked on award winning film, documentary and commercial productions all around Africa and is the former Head of Media for the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR). Prior to joining the KNCHR, Kuxi worked as a Media Consultant and has created and implemented Media Strategies for some of Kenya’s biggest companies and NGO’s. As a Producer, Kuxi has a keen eye for logistics and from early in her career was a key part of the committee’s that organised international sports and music events in Kenya, including the ICC Cricket World Cup and numerous international music concerts.
Most recently Kuxi produced a podcast hosted by former Newstalk presenter, Dil Wickremasinghe called ‘Sparking Change with Dil”, a podcast that focused on the latest social justice and mental health issues. Kuxi regularly volunteers with various charities in Dublin, working with the Homeless, Lone Parents, Women, Asylum seekers, Refugees and Migrants living in Ireland. Kuxi’s values have strong roots in the ethics of social justice and equality for all. She is inherently driven by the principles outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and uses her media expertise in the pursuit and implementation of the same. She works to uplift humanity to a space where we all have an equal seat at the table.
